Hillside Rural Activities Park (HRAP) Knayton, near Thirsk is a wonderful 28 acre site purchased with the help of grants and legacies and includes an area owned by the Hillside Scout Group. HRAP is a well used community park and is a registered charity (1110968) The facility is a permanent home for Hillside Scouts, Knayton Football Club, Leake Cricket Club, Leake Tennis Club, Allerton Junior Athletics Club and Borrowby Show. A well equipped children's play area and outdoor gym are popular at the park. Combined scout hall/toilets/changing rooms/showers are used regularly and can be hired for sport or social events.
The park is open to the public for the benefit of the local community.
